You may be aware that LCS is currently going through some difficult financial times. LCS has a long history filled with tremendous stories of faithful believers pulling together in times of need. There are old stories of principals and board members "passing a hat" at basketball games when the electric or gas bill couldn't be paid. As the hat was passed through the stands those who felt moved by God to donate would put cash or a check in the hat. By the time the hat had been passed through the crowd the bills had been paid. When LCS has been on the ropes God has ALWAYS sustained it. Our school is bigger than the students who attend or the teachers who teach or the donors who help sustain it. LCS is bigger than the economy--it won't be stopped because of a recession or lower enrollment or whatever. God is faithful and we have faithfully served Him through LCS.
So here is your assignment. Thinking about all that we have learned about prayer I want you to write a prayer that we can pray in this time of need for LCS. Hopefully, in a few days this blog will be filled with over 40 prayers that we can share with the LCS family. Remember to ask boldly, to be specific and to ask with proper motives.

thank you 4 letting all of us go to a Christian school 4 so many years. thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn about your world and your precious book and you and all of your awesomeness. I know that many of us have taken this blessing for granted, but i ask that if it would be your will that you would provide or find some sort of way to help the school provide for the needs that are to be met.
